The Director
A Pueblo native, mother of 7 and grandmother of 9, Peggy has worked with
the MDO program for over 20 years. She took the Director's position in
September, 2003. Peggy loves children, and loves to be a part of
their growth and development.
The Staff
The staff, Peggy Urioste, Roni Rael, Kristine Dodd, Pat Trimble, and Linda
Sumruld are creative and caring people who welcome each and every child. We strive to provide activities which are appropriate for the children and providing experiences at the child's level of understanding and ability to
participate.
Our Mission Statement
The Mother's Day Out program is a fully licensed Child Care program. We strive to provide Christian experiences for preschool age children in a safe, loving, secure and comfortable environment in which to leave your child. Our mission is to support you in the nurturing process begun at home. We feel each child is a unique gift from God and it is a joy for us to be a part of that nurturing process. The MDO program is part of the Christian Education program and a mission of the church.
Registration and Tuition
Mother's Day Out is open to all preschool age children in the community. We offer a 9-month program, September through May. We are available on
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday for half day or all day sessions. We offer a choice of one, two and three day sessions from
8:30-12:00 or 8:30-3:00.Tuition: $20 per day, $16 per half day. We also offer multi-family rates, and the
tuition can be paid with Visa, MasterCard or American Express.
The Curriculum
The goals of our program provide a day of fun and learning that includes socialized activities, fine motor and gross motor development, language development, stories, songs, creative art activities, games, circle time, and supervised play time.
General Information
When a child is enrolled in MDO it is necessary for us to have the following documents on file
at the office: a completed registration packet, health form completed by parent and
physician, updated copy of the immunization records, emergency form and field trip permission form.
